Procedural Volume and Outcomes for Transcatheter Aortic-Valve Replacement
In light of the recent Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recommendation for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) volumes, this study looked at 113,662 TAVRs from the TVT registry from 2015 to 2017 and found that 30-day mortality was higher at low-volume TAVR hospitals or low-volume operators.

Very interesting reporting, just have 1* to clarify, all these mortality events anticipated or predicted, were on the table (during procedure), or we do have surprises later on in recovery/ CVISU, if not due to sending them home early as a part of + reinforcement of ERAS.
