Aortic valve-sparing procedures have become increasingly popular over the past decade. This video demonstrates the re-implantation procedure for aortic root replacement (described by David et al.), aortic root remodeling, and implantation of an expansible ring. This approach (described by Lansac et al.) allows for a physiological reconstruction of the aortic root, while providing stabilization of the aortic valvular ring. The mid-term results of this procedure are encouraging.
