Dr. Ajay Meena is an alumnus of AIIMS has completed his MBBS from AIIMS New Delhi. He joined PGIMER Chandigarh for his post-graduation in general surgery and finished his super speciality training in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery (CTVS) from prestigious institute, AIIMS New Delhi He is working as senior consultant cardiac surgeon at J K Paras hospital Udaipur, India. His field of expertise is performing both adult and paediatric cardiac surgery ,vascular and thoracic surgery .The surgeries performed by him includes the whole spectrum of cardiac surgery , viz.
Adult :Total arterial CABG ,Off pump CABG, Redo CABG , CABG +mitral valve repair /replacement , CABG +AVR , CABG +VSD ,Double valve repair /replacements , Aortic & mitral valve repairs ,MICS AVR / MVR , Type A Aortic dissection,Bentall operation, Thoracic and Abdominal Aortic aneurysm surgeries , peripheral vascular disease ,thoracic surgeries like lobectomy and pneumonectomy ,diaphragmatic hernia ,
Paediatric :Truncus arteriosus, TAPVC , Complete AVSD ,BD Glenn and Fontan completion ,Aortic valve repair, Congenital Mitral valve repair ,Cone repair for ebsteins anomaly , ICR for TOF and DORV , Rastelli procedure  ,RMBTS,VSD closure, MICS VSD closure ,ASD , PDA.
He was a member of the cardiac transplantation team which performed the first heart transplant in Rajasthan. he has experience of more than 10 years in the field of cardiac surgery. he has numerous publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
