Currently a second year medical student at Meharry Medical College School of Medicine with an on-going research project at the Monroe Carell Junior Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Our project, focusing on severely premature infants, seeks to discover whether it is better to operatively repair complex congenital heart anomalies upon presentation or to allow the infants to first experience a period of medical management and growth.
