The value of measuring graft follow intraoperatively for me has been mainly to eliminate graph closure as a source of any EKG or regional wall motion changes experienced in the early post bypass.
Is there anyone among us who is ready to take an airliner without GPS?
That s what the majority of us ( as I by myself) does do in our routine daily CABG. The situational awareness of competitive flow should erect before surgery by FFR and we should no more wait detecting it after having manipulated a coronary target inadvisedly, by the way replacing a functional physiology by a graft physiopathology.
The notion of complete revascularization based on eyeball guestimation should be functionally revised.
