I would definitely want to take this exam. The only issue is thoracic portion which is overwhelming for a surgeon like me who exclusively practices cardiac surgery.

Yes indeed. I have completed my MRCS 10 years ago and hoping to go for the FRCS. I agree with Dr. Ali, seperate tracts would acheive much fairer results.

I cleared MEBCTS and part 1 of FRCSi CTS in exam held in November 2018, but part 2 has been held up due to COVID for nearly 2 years now. I was hoping at least a supervised scope special permit to work in UK could be arranged until the part 2 exam is conducted. It would be nice if it could be conveyed to the decision makers.
