Complete surgical resection is the optimal treatment for malignant and complex benign left heart tumors. Anatomic inaccessibility and the relationship with vital cardiac structures can make complete resection of these complex tumors via standard surgical techniques suboptimal. An autotransplantation technique in these cases allows optimal anatomic exposure for complete tumor resection and accurate reconstruction.
Very impressive video! Congratulations to all the operators. Finally a very clear and detailed explanation of this technique.
I have just some questions: how much was the ischemia time? What about the oncologic result,I mean the follow-up?
Very impressive. I will do it if I have a chance. Good one.
