Thymectomy is often an effective treatment for patients with uncontrolled myasthenia gravis. During surgery, it is important to ensure that the gland has been completely removed without injury to the phrenic nerves or the innominate vein. The authors present the case of a 36-year-old female with a past medical history of myasthenia gravis not responding to medication. A thymectomy was planned via a left mini-thoracotomy approach.

Very nice video! I wonder if a true VATS approach could be used in similar fashion. Also, I wish there were a few more shots of interior portion of the thymus dissection on the right. Seems like it is still hard to see that portion of the phrenic.
