‘Unprecedented Pace’ of Extreme Temperatures Associated with Death from Common CV Conditions

A multinational study found an association between extreme hot and cold temperatures and cardiovascular diseases. Heart failure was the most common cause of death associated with extreme temperatures, closely followed by ischemic heart disease and stroke.
