Hellenic Cardiovascular and Thoracic Society of Surgeons

In 1986, a scientific association was established in Greece, under the name "Hellenic Society of Thoracic, Cardiac & Vascular Surgeons In 2008, with a new statute, the society was renamed as "Hellenic Cardio-Vascular & Thoracic Society of Surgeons. Purpose: The promotion of Cardiac, Thoracic & Vascular Surgery in Greece, for the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases affecting the thoracic cavity organs, which aims at the surgical treatment of the related and acquired diseases. The aim of the Company is to organize scientific conferences, seminars, conferences, and to set up committees to study issues related to the promotion of surgery.
