An experiment that may find some translational value in the drive to elucidate inflammation as a target for controlling cardiovascular disease. Columbia University has on this occasion focused on elucidating by flow cytometry the nuances of monocytes. We expect this manuscript (analysed by an ad-hoc editorial) to be well-cited in future work on non-behavioural and environmental causes of atheroma.
